This book invites readers to step into the speculative worlds of Liam Young and his collaborators, exploring the possibilities and challenges of what the future could hold. Rather than explaining these futures, the stories invite you to live inside them, transforming vast infrastructures into places of memory, ritual, work, and belonging. They reveal the everyday lives hidden within landscapes of immense technological ambition. Become an archaeologist of worlds yet to come; listen to the hopes, fears, and dreams of people who may one day call these futures home. Authors include Lisa Joy, Jane Wu, Kim Stanley Robinson, Chen Qiufan, Kate Crawford, and Dame Maggie Aderin.
