Vom Paradies der Damen is a series of photographs, especially developed for the space of a book, of a 500-square-meter space, the former fashion store owned by Beate Mohr's family. After the store was closed, the space has been completely dismantled, except for the carpeting and three mirrored pillars, which stand at regular intervals in the space. The L-shaped room in the photographs is between usages. This brief moment of its functionlessness is the reason for the photo series. Through the full-format photographs, the viewers are drawn into the space of the book, and move around the space as in a choreography.
