Introduced by Akira Yoneda’s ‘Hojo’ house in Tokyo, GA subsequently documents another 16 works and projects by a collection of different architects. Among them Mathias Klotz’s Techos, Bitran and Kuschnir Houses, Toyo Ito’s ‘White O,’ the Roof House by Terunobu Fujimori + Hiroshi Nakatani and the ‘O House’ by Hideyuki Nakayama. Further, four essential elements of the house – glass, window, garden and staircase – are examined respectively through projects by Ray Kappe, David Hertz, Terunobu Fujimori and Georg Driendl.
