Since its launch in 2017, TextWork has created a distinctive online platform exploring the relationship between writing and contemporary art. Developed by the Fondation Pernod Ricard with support from the French Ministry of Culture, the program promotes the French art scene by highlighting critical writing as an essential support for artists. Through collaborations between France-based artists and international writers, TextWork produces in-depth critical texts that examine artistic practices. More than an editorial project, it provides sustained attention to artists at key stages of their careers. The first 40 monographic texts form a growing archive documenting a dynamic and evolving contemporary art landscape.
