The works stem from research into the Ligurian karst caves, where human and animal footprints dating back around 15,000 years reveal forms of interspecies cohabitation, contact, and mutual transformation. The sculptures assume porous, tactile forms incorporating organic residues and food, evoking sedimentation, rituality, and exchange. Activated through communal banquets, they function as relational devices around which gestures, materials, and acts of consumption are shared. Winner of the Italian Council 2024, the project has been presented internationally before reaching Casa Museo Jorn in Albissola Marina and will ultimately enter the collection of Museo Madre in Naples.
