URSA is the architectural partnership of Luís Ribeiro da Silva and Margarida Quintã. The firm conceives of architecture as a form of knowledge, and its practice as the identification, formulation, and resolution of problems affecting the human condition. This edition takes a closer look at their practice through a building located in Matosinhos, Portugal. The commission arose from a joint venture of four families who acquired a plot to build their homes. In 2024, from within the specific constraints of the site and its context, URSA delivered an exceptional concrete multi-residence structure. The publication includes an introduction by Philip Ursprung and a conversation with the architects.
