Epic Fail 2009–2025 is a critical reflection on failure, examined through poorly drawn swastikas found on public walls and surfaces across Italy. Based on research conducted between 2009 and 2025, the project explores how one of history’s oldest and most widespread symbols - later appropriated by the Nazi regime - is repeatedly reproduced incorrectly by those attempting to assert ideological authority. These distorted drawings become unexpected signs of failure, exposing the incompetence of their authors and undermining the very ideas of control and rigor they seek to convey. Combining humor, political critique, and a left-wing perspective, the project links mistakes to ideological and collapse.
