Junichi Nakahara Letter Paper
Idea Code 17003
Graphic artist, illustrator, and fashion designer Junichi Nakahara is famous for his expressive drawings of young girls with large, exaggerated eyes, and many consider his style as crucial to the development of manga art in Japan. He began working as a dress designer and fashion illustrator in the 1920s, but soon became interested in illustrating shojo manga (magazines aimed at a teenage female readership). This book features more than 60 charming illustrations of graceful, doe-eyed girls wearing a variety of outfits, from Japanese kimonos and a few traditional Western costumes to stylish dresses that reflect the rapidly changing fashion trends of Nakahara’s day.
