Grenoble: un modernisme olympique français
Conceived as a photographic wander through Lionel Catelan's heterogeneous production and collection (original photographs, archival documents, drawings, postcards, etc.), this book presents a dense flow of images from the exploration of ten buildings or places of interest created for the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble. This unprecedented corpus paints a portrait of a city that was traversed by a veritable architectural "jolt" and aims to shed new light on the implementation of an unprecedented modernist vision, seeking to integrate art into architecture in a variety of forms (sculpture, painting, mosaics, etc.).
