Jun Tsunoda’s fascination with minerals started at a young age, evidenced by his habit of collecting rocks. For his artistic work, Tsunoda gathers various natural mineral compounds and assembles them into single, solid masses. Set in bases of plaster, the coloured crystals and minerals form sculptural shapes intended to accentuate their natural geometry and beauty.
