A project on the themes of the production of history, the amateur figure and the recycling of media through the figure of the traveling filmmaker Melton Barker, who traveled across the United States from the 1930s to the 1970s to produce more than three hundred iterations of the same film with local children's castings. The book, which presents an unusual point of view on the history of film production in the twentieth century, is based on Gareth Long's eponymous exhibition at Kunsthalle Wien in 2014 that was later presented at the Blaffer Art Museum in Houston in 2019.
