Tuija Lindstroem: A Dream If Ever There Was One
|Publisher||Art And Theory Publishing|
|Status||out of print|
Tuija Lindström is one of Sweden’s foremost photographic artists. Published in conjunction with an exhibition at the Hasselblad Foundation, Gothenburg, this book is first in a series covering her work from 1980 to the present. Many of the images were taken in the 1980s while she was studying in Stockholm, a period of experimentation and curiosity for Lindström that laid the foundations for her later work. Using opportunities offered by analogue techniques, she conducted a creative investigation into classical themes: landscapes, portraits, nudes, and still lifes. Collected and presented together, the images also highlight Lindström’s influence on contemporary Swedish art photography.
