Nicolas Floc'h - Deep Sea
|Status||not yet published|
'Deep Sea’ presents underwater images of seascapes from the Lampaul Canyon in the Bay of Biscay, France, made at depths of up to nearly 2,000 metres. The bay’s canyons were formed as conti- nents drifted apart 120 million years ago, opening up the Atlantic Ocean. These bathyal seascapes by Nicolas Floc’h are filled with cliffs, falls, and folds in which marine snow merges with living things, the stars of the ocean depths.
