Initiated in 2023 by the EPCC Cité du design–Ésad Saint-Étienne, Présent > < Futur is a series of monographic exhibitions celebrating the diversity and vitality of contemporary design. Each bilingual volume offers around sixty illustrated pages and a newly commissioned introductory text. This fourth volume focuses on French designer David Dubois, whose work - presented in the exhibition En mouvement (November 6, 2025–March 1, 2026) - moves between fashion, art, and design. As critic Jeanne Quéheillard notes, Dubois’s forms often arise through collaborations with artists, performers, filmmakers, and publishers, where discovery and play are central to his process.
