'New Design from Düsseldorf', organised by the Faculty of Design at the Peter Behrens School of Arts, Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences, in collaboration with design (from) Düsseldorf, presents around 50 nominated student final projects from the fields of new craft object design, communication design, retail design, and exhibition design. This catalogue accompanies the exhibition at the NRW-Forum Düsseldorf and highlights the students' innovative design thinking. The projects cover topics such as identity, gender, feminism, sustainability, education, and science, and examine and interpret the role and methods of design in a rapidly changing society using experimental approaches.
