Compiled in this book are scribbles that Peti Wiskemann created and collected between 1989 and the present. Comprising approximately 350 drawings, the selection includes drawn notes, to-do lists, and improvised sketches. None were ever intended as finished works; they are all byproducts of ongoing work processes. Texts consisting of just two words form a second layer throughout. This improvisational arrangement creates new word pictures – at once associative and dissociative – that seem like a mixture of Bushido’s “Sonnenbank Flavour” and Dadaist poems by Hugo Ball (1886–1927). Taken altogether, the publication forms a microcosm of the Swiss artist’s oeuvre.
