This publication is a complete collection of all works from Shinro Ohtake's ongoing series biru-kei (building scenes) created from 1978 to 2019, approximately 40 years in total. Most of Ohtake’s biru-kei works are not created from landscapes that actually exist. Instead, they were created from his memories of different cities including Hong Kong, London, and Tokyo, as well as “landscape with buildings” and images that intermittently appear in his conscious and unconscious mind. All 830 works are assembled in chronological order. With an original print.
