The artist’s book weaves together fragments of literary, scientific, philosophical, and science-fiction texts centered on the subterranean. Drawing from figures such as Ursula K. Le Guin, Jules Verne, Reza Negarestani, and Athanasius Kircher, it offers a subjective, transhistorical perspective on underground and extraterrestrial imaginaries. Incorporating video stills from the film, the book reflects on deep time, extraction, and technology, linking nineteenth-century underground exploration to today’s renewed space race and emerging forms of extraterrestrial extractivism.
