'The Cutlery' exhibition and catalogue present a selection of more than five hundred types of cutlery, each in its own material, with its own shape and style. Particular attention was paid to those created by Maestri of contemporary design, and by presenting these pieces, the the reader is stimulated to view these familiar articles under a different light, appreciating the diversity of the instruments. This is added to the exhibitions and catalogues “Bookmark” (1995) and “Pencils” (1996), again promoted by Giorgetti, a well-known manufacturer of contemporary furniture. These exhibitions are all part of the company’s program of cultural initiatives.
