An important aspect of Wim Delvoye's Cloaca project has been the technical drawings, plans and studies that he has produced for all the different facets of this ongoing artwork. A substantial body of drawings and sketches on paper are reproduced here, for everything from individual Cloaca machines and issued shares and certificates, to designs for packaging and the almost regal gates for the entrance to the Cloaca factory. The hundreds of works are reproduced one to a page, in full colour, and accompanied by an exhibition list to relate the works to the development of the project.
