Absolute Zeitgeist is an open-source curatorial magazine that captures the themes and elements that shape our present. The second issue takes on the topic of Bored: what does it mean to be bored in an age that monetizes our attention? For every issue, a guest curator is invited to reflect on all the submissions and turn the collection into a narrative that shines a new light on the topic. For this issue, the magazine invited Joachim Baan to take on this role. In addition to creating a narrative from the contributions on Are.na, Joachim formulated six lenses through which he examined the theme of being bored.
