By means of photographs, videos, installations and sound pieces, Esther Hoareau depicts phantasmagorical landscapes which nevertheless share certain common appearances and appeal to a truly collective imagination. Born in 1976, Esther Hoareau lives and works in Reéunion. Graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Art de Dijon, she has also studied at the Nagoya Art University in Japan, and at ESA Reunion where she teaches since 2013. Her work has been shown in France, Brazil, Italy, Japan, South Africa, Cuba and Iceland.
