The literary pocket series produced by the publisher "De Bezige Bij" between 1956 and 1979 are collected mainly because of their covers. The design was done by the well-known typographer Karel Beunis. The illustrations were delivered by Jaap Jungcurt, a struggling artist living on social security, who was never even mentioned by Beunis. This collection of postcards is a homage to Jaap Jungcurt.
