Claudia Barth & Christof Nüssli – –×–=+
|not yet published
Swiss artists Claudia Barth and Christof Nüssli planted seven flags at seven points on a self-appointed north-south line through the centre of Switzerland. Their project’s title is also composed of the symbols that appear on the flag, a playful deconstruction of the monolithic simplicity of the Swiss flag itself. This publication was produced during the same period, documenting the seven locations with images and research material to deepen an understanding of the project. In addition, the book contains contributions on the concepts of borders, nations, and resistance by Dragica Rajčič Holzner, Andrea Bagnato and Marco Ferrari, Initiative Nammou, and the artists themselves.
