David Gilbert’s first monograph surveys more than a decade of the artist’s practice and brings together 114 photographs alongside an essay by writer and curator Sarah Lehrer-Graiwer. Sarah Lehrer-Graiwer is a Los Angeles–based art writer and curator. She teaches at Otis College of Art and Design, publishes Pep Talk, and runs the experimental art venue The Finley Gallery. Her writing has appeared in publications including Artforum, ArtReview, Art in America, Art on Paper, ArtSlant, Mousse, as well as in numerous exhibition catalogues.
